"Hey watch it" is what you might often here on a Monday morning on my local Long Island Bus. As much as it would be nice to think, nobody takes the bus because there trying to cut back on gas and do the new trendy thing and "go green." People take the bus because they have to, and how appropriate that on the back of my bi-weekly metro-card they type boldly the word "Optimisim." My fellow commuters and I have no choice but to remain optimistic on a ride so bumby it will make your tush go numb! I have often wondered how the job training process is for many of our daily bus drivers. Is it expected of them to take a speedily start and brake with such aggression, as if there only wish in life is to see us domino amongst each other. O boy, there is nothing better than falling into a perfect strangers lap on a Monday morning :)
